Train to Trust Yourself
Why training consistency can give you a false sense of confidence
There’s something powerful that happens when you train consistently.
Yes, you get faster, sharper, and stronger.
But what you also build, maybe without even realising, is belief.

Let’s say you’ve been working all week on 1v1s. You go into the match thinking, "If I get that moment on the wing, I know I can beat my man."
Is that guaranteed?
No. But your mind doesn’t care. Because your training has convinced you: you’re ready. And that naive belief can tip the scale.
Even if it starts as a false confidence, it becomes real the moment you act on it. Because now you’re playing brave, without hesitation.
So next time you’re training, remember this:
You’re not just training your body.
You’re programming your mind to believe you're ready for the moment.
