Until he found out about an open trial organised by Atletico Junior.

He traveled over 6 hours to get there 🚌 and found himself amongst 3,000 other boys. 😳

And the coaches said that he stood out because of how skinny he was compared to the rest 😮

But once he got on the pitch, he stood out for all the right reasons, his dribbling, pace, skills, and stamina to just keep on going 🔥

But more importantly, they were impressed by his character, so they enrolled him into their youth set-up and Luis Diaz hasn’t looked back ever since. 🚀
