How Connor Got Scouted🔥

This is Connor Forsyth.

He started playing football at 7 years old for his local club in Switzerland, FC Arkesheim. 

And stayed there for 9 years!

But by 16, he decided it was time for change and joined FC Kickers Basel.

Impressing the coaches, he earned a spot in their starting 11, playing multiple positions from CDM to right-back over two seasons.

But Connor wanted to take his development into his own hands and started using the Train Effective app, in particular to help sharpen his weak foot.

He then later joined one of our London Train Effective camps in 2024, and was even named player of the week.

That confidence boost led to a big moment when his club back home decided to move him up an age group to play with boys 2-3 years old.

And most recently, Connor was selected by us to attend our elite camp in Portugal.

There, he trained and played in showcase matches against local sides, including Braga’s youth team.

And at the end of it, he was selected by our scout to trial for a La Liga 2 side in Spain!

All of this is why Connor is our player of the month and proof that with the right mindset, tools, and opportunity, anything is possible!
