The Elite Camp 2025 has officially come to a close.

Over 10 days, 20 elite players from around the world came together in Porto (Portugal) -

selected from over 2 million Train Effective users and past camp attendees.

The goal was clear: create real opportunities for players with the talent and mindset to make it as professional footballers.

This was not a typical camp. It was a high-performance residency that pushed our players to perform at their absolute best.

Coach: Simon O’Neill (Academy Coach at a Premier League club)

  • 9 intensive on-field sessions

  • 4 strength & conditioning workouts

  • 7 recovery pool sessions

  • Daily tactical briefings, analysis, and professional feedback

  • 3 competitive matches in front of scouts, including:

    • SC Braga (1st division)

    • F.C. Paços de Ferreira (2nd division Portugal)

    • FC Marinhos (4th division)

Results & Next Steps:

  • Connor Forsyth was scouted and invited to trial with Albacete BalompiĂ© in Spain. Their first team competes in La Liga 2 (Spanish 2nd Division).

    Connor has been selected for Juvenil A, which plays in the DivisiĂłn de Honor - the highest possible category for his age group.

  • About two players we are in active discussions with SC Espinho (Portuguese 4th division) after their strong performances at the camp.

  • Our coaching staff is currently selecting standout players who we believe are ready for professional, semi-professional, or academy-level opportunities - and we are actively facilitating those next steps.

  • All players’ match footage and profiles are being added to our Talent Network, which is being shared with our partner clubs and scouts across Europe.
