Do You Recover Properly?

Day 12 of 30 Days of Dedication recap

In yesterday’s session …

We broke down Erling Haaland’s “24/7 athlete” mindset

And what you can copy today even without Man City facilities.

Here’s what you need to know:

1. Superstars win with small things

Haaland isn’t smashing crazy gym PRs every day.

He’s doing 10–15 minutes of simple mobility for tight hamstrings, quads and hips

The kind of stretches you can do at home or at the pitch.

Lesson: you don’t need “beast mode” sessions every day…

you need small, smart work done consistently.

2. Protect your ankles, protect your career

He spent time just balancing on a Bosu ball, training ankle stability and coordination.

Why?

Because one weak ankle can ruin a season.

You might not have a Bosu ball, but you can work on balance:

Single-leg stands, landing softly, simple control exercises.

Lesson: Strong ankles = more minutes, fewer excuses.

3. Your body is tired… your mind lies

In the hypoxic (low oxygen, high heat) chamber, Haaland kept telling himself:

If you tell yourself you’re tired, you’ll be tired.

If you tell yourself you’re not that tired, you’ll keep going.

That’s the mentality: “Just one more rep.”

Lesson: Your last mistake or last sprint doesn’t decide the next one.

This isn’t motivation. This is method.

Exactly how pros think, train, recover, and stay sharp.

Make the most out of this Winter Arc.
