What a year it’s been at the Train Effective Camps!

Our 2024 camp season was packed with unforgettable experiences, world-class training, and a global community of committed players striving to reach their full potential.

This year, we continued to deliver the ultimate football experience for aspiring players from around the world.

Whether players joined us from the United States, Australia, Singapore, Norway, South Africa, or other corners of the globe, everyone came together with a shared goal: to elevate their game.

The camps were designed by professional coaches who worked closely with each player to help them develop their skills, boost their confidence, and achieve their football goals. Our coaches included

• Simon O'Neill - National Scout for Northern Ireland, Head of Academy & U21 Manager at Liverpool FC Women

• George Williams - Former Fulham FC & Wales National Player who played in the Euro 2016 Semi-Finals with Gareth Bale

• Ricardo Nobre - Former SC Braga U19 Coach (1st League in Portugal), UEFA B Coach & Tactical Analyst

• Murray Jones - Millwall FC's U16/18 coach and former U18/U21 Pro Development Phase Coach

and many more!

In 2024, this dedication was evident in every session, as players trained, lived, and played like professionals in an environment tailored to their growth.

The results spoke for themselves, with several players, like Hugo, making significant strides in their football careers.

The 2024 Camp Experience

The 2024 camp experience was structured to ensure that every player could maximize their potential while enjoying all aspects of the camp.

Each day was filled with a balanced mix of on-pitch training, recovery sessions, masterclasses, and team bonding-activities.

Beyond the pitch, we introduced new activities to keep the camp experience engaging and fun.

Teqball, ping pong, footvolley, and a PS5 lounge became favorite pastimes, helping players unwind and build camaraderie off the field.

These additions, along with our carefully crafted training sessions, made this year’s camps not just a place to train, but a place to grow and connect.

Hugo’s Success
We’re incredibly proud to share that one of our own, Hugo, has joined the West Ham Foundation. This achievement underscores the quality of training at our camps and the dedication of our players.

We welcomed several new coaches to our coaching team - bringing fresh energy and expertise to every session! 👏

Exciting New Activities
This year, we added a variety of new activities to keep the energy high and the fun going. From teqball and ping pong to footvolley and a PS5 lounge, there were plenty of ways for our players to relax and bond off the pitch while staying sharp.

Watford Match Experience
One of the most thrilling moments this year was when our players had the chance to attend a Watford match. Seeing the pros in action was an inspiring experience, offering a glimpse into the level of commitment and skill required to compete at the highest level.

More Matches Than Ever
We increased the number of matches this season, giving players more opportunities to showcase their skills. Intense internal matches were great preparation for our showcase events, and our games against Hemel and West Ham were particular highlights, challenging our players to step up their game.

A Global Community
One of the most rewarding aspects of our camps is the diversity of our players. This year, we had the privilege of hosting players from Australia, Georgia, Ethiopia, Guatemala, Trinidad & Tobago, Thailand, Kenya, and beyond. The mix of cultures, playing styles, and experiences created a truly unique and enriching environment for everyone involved.
